Rosie's Theater Kids (RTKids) is collecting applications to run with TEAM RTKids in the 2012 ING NYC Marathon on Sunday, November 4, 2012!
Team RTKids has 4 coveted spots left on our team for the ING NYC Marathon!! Running for Team RTKids has no minimum ability requirement - you don't have to win a spot via lottery, nor do you have to compete in multiple races throughout the year to qualify - all you have to do is help us raise funds!
As an added bonus, we are excited that a team of three from Z100's Elvis Duran and the Morning Show are running for Rosie's Theater Kids! Join RTKids to run with Greg T, Garrett Vo, and Ronnie Scalzo!
How can I join Team RTKids?
Click on the link here and fill out an application, letting us know how much you can commit to raising for RTKids (minimum fundraising requirement is $3000).
Why should I join Team RTKids?
There are so many reasons! One, it is a great way to challenge yourself and support a worthy non-profit at the same time. Second, you finally get to achieve your dream of running in the NYC Marathon! Also, we'll have team events, where you can introduce some of your supporters to Rosie's Theater Kids throughout your training.
Second, you will have SUPPORT in your training! RTKids has partnered with CLAY gym to provide you with personal training and support! Ask the experts about your training routine, and bond with the rest of the team!
What if I don't raise the money that I said I would raise?
Rosie's Theater Kids asks that you fulfill the commitment that you pledge. To that end, once you "make" the team, you will be asked for your credit card information. If all of the funds pledged are not raised by one week after the marathon, your credit card will be charged the balance.
